There are alot of other AYCE sushi joints in town better in value and price for this. Skip this place, your stomach will thank you...

They also have a location near Yonge and Dundas, which is the only one I've been to. It was dreadful. The food ranged from underwhelming to slightly icky, the restaurant was revoltingly filthy, and the service was profoundly incompetent. There are dozens of budget all-you-can-eat sushi places in Toronto, and I'd take any one of them over Mariko on Yonge.

Horrible Sushi, need not to say more. Fish isn't fresh, cooking is incompetent. Place I would recommend is J-Tim Sushi on Bloor.

so i've lived on the same block as mariko for over a year now and never ventured based on the lack of noise made about this place. but with their fancy new sign and my determination to find something better then new gen and sushi on bloor, i broke the ice, and i am SO glad that i did. Mariko's rolls were fresh, the rice was fantastic, the portions were cheap and generous, all in all this is the first cheap sushi i've had since moving here that made me want to go back.
i think business may improve with the reopening of bloor cinema, but just a warning, service is not what you'd go here for.
