Mainsha Restaurant

Mainsha RestaurantThough plain looking from the outside, Mainsha Restaurant serves up some cheap and tasty West Indian eats. Best is their Toonie Tuesday where you can get a good size order of chicken for pocket change. Mainsha has several locations throughout the city but this is the original location on Eglinton Ave. W., near Oakwood.

this was a terrible review. Whoever did it needs to retire.

A friend offered to buy lunch for me since he was going on a lunch run, so I gave him some money and told him to get me whatever he was getting. He returned with a plastic bag containing two styrofoam containers and drinks as well as my change. It looked plain and filling enough. Lo and behold, I was blown away by the amount of taste that this plain looking meal delivered to my palate and quickly finished the rest of it. The drink looked and tasted like nothing special - mostly sugar and water. However, do not judge this establishment by its looks. If you're looking to get your money's worth, this is the place.

The best $3 dollars you can ever spend in your life at any restaurant is here (mainsha). For $3 you can get rice and chicken and a dring and it makes you very full. At first I thought it looks like a shit restaurant but you have to go inside try it and experience the taste!!!! GO THERE NOW!

This is far the best Jamaican jerk restaurant. I have been to numerous jerk stops all over Toronto. This is the one, do not, and I mean DO NOT go to any other Mainsha locations. Only the one listed here around eglinton and marlee... All these online reviews are BS, basically try every other restaurant posted on this site, then try Maisha and you will see... now it costs $5 for a box of jerk and a juice.
