Recently I stumbled upon this place on Queen street downtown Toronto. I was pleasantly surprised! I thought it was just another cocktail lounge, but it turned out to be so much more. My grilfriend and I had without a doubt the greatest pizza ever! I never new such a thing as dough with no yeast existed. After a long day of Queen street shopping, this pizza definitely hit the spot. Beyond it being amazingly delicious, the process was amazing to watch. I got to see the chef make the pizza fresh in front of my eyes and put it in this futuristic oven that had baked it to perfection in what seemed like only a minute. Afterwards the waitress gave us the background behind the chef and how the oven was imported directly from Italy. I mean this has got to be the most authentic pizza my girlfriend and I have ever tried. I highly recommend everyone try it, even if your not a pizza lover, after this, you will become one. I know I did.

I honestly had the most entertaining experience tonight at Lucid. I went for the gourmet pizza my friend spoke of and ended up staying late sampling some amazing and interesting cocktails. The mixologists were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The pizza was an incredible experience. I look forward to our next encounter Mr. Simon!!! Thank you!

No relation to Katie Holmes, ha.
But seriously, this was an interesting experience. An excellent blend of gourmet pizza's with inspiring cocktails and all for a reasonable price. I never thought I could find anything like this on Queen Street. No disrespect to the hipsters, but wow!

My girlfiends and I were shopping along Queen St. and stopped into this place just to grab a drink. The staff was incredibly friendly, great customer service. The Ausie kid gave me a "surprise" cocktail, my choice. I did not really like it however I did appreciate the effort that went into the cocktail. Very pretty to watch the preperation that went into the drink. Then we decided to try the pizza, figured we could use some in our system after a few drinks :-) I have never heard of, before today, no yeast pizza. With such toppings as buffalo cheese and freshly sliced eggplant. By far the most interesting pizza I have ever had the pleasure of eating!
