"shark's fin seafood consomme..."

Way to promote an utterly vile dish, dumbasses...right up there with "best nabe spots for fresh panda eyes".

Shark fin soup is made by cutting the fins off live sharks and dropping the helpless fish back into the ocean to die. Even if LTH's consomme was only called 'shark fin', and didn't actually contain any shark, the fact that they feature it on their menu only perpetuates mainstream acceptance of this horrendous dish.

Look, I love dim sum, and I'm sure LTH does a damn fine job of it. Too, I'd love to count myself among those that pass on only the best word-of-mouth about their food. But until I hear that LTH has stricken all shark fin from their menu, I'm telling everyone and anyone to steer clear of the place.

The food is terrific! Clean and great service. Facebook recommends it too.

DONT EAT HERE.
They serve shark fin soup and sharks are one of the most threatened species. They are VITAL TO LIFE NOT ONLY IN THE SEA BUT ALSO ON LAND. 70% of our oxygen comes from the oceans and sharks are the top predator monitoring the whole marine eco system keeping it healthy and in balance. If you care about the oceans and humans than don't eat anywhere where they serve shark or especially shark fin. Sharks are caught and then their fins are caught of and they are thrown back into the ocean alive waiting to die.

Don't eat here because they serve shark fin. The shark population has declined 90% and we CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT SHARKS. Sharks are not our enemy. Bending machines kill more people a year than sharks do. There are less than 5 shark deaths a year and billions of people enter the oceans each year where sharks live. Think about it.....If they were trying to kill us than why are there less than 5 deaths a year??
