Kotta Japanese Restaurant TorontoKotta Japanese Restaurant has recently surfaced near King and Dufferin in the old Hue's Kitchen location. As the name of the restaurant suggests, the kitchen is squarely focused on providing the neighbourhood with affordable sushi and other Japanese eats.

Hurray!! a new resto on the dirty corner of king and duffer in! The servers and chef were super nice but unfortunately there wasn't much vegetarian on the menu, and the food was under average. The sushi rice was really mushy. Too bad. Nice place, and this end of park dale needs some new life surfacing.

Yeah nice to have a Japanese restaurant in this area of town. The restaurant is nice and clean, the servers and chefs were really kind and friendly. Foods were good and affordable. Great service and value. If you like Japanese food then you should definitely try this place out for yourself.

I LOVE this place! Great atmosphere, incredibly nice serving staff (plus they always have the game on!) and really delicious, affordable food. They don't skimp on the portions either - rolls are nice and fat! I highly recommend this place. It's a shining jewel in the rough that is Parkdale.

I ate here while visiting Toronto in April, and it really was one of the highlights of my visit. Nice and friendly staff, pleasant decor, and fantastic sushi. The neighborhood would have you believe this to be a run-down hole in the wall, yet it's anything but.
