The Indian Hut

The Indian HutThe Indian Hut, on Church St. just south of Bloor, cooks up Indian classics like butter chicken and aloo gobi. The big draw though is their reasonably priced lunch and dinner buffets.

Loved it!!!

Great food, service and atmosphere. I had the buffet lunch and it was fresh and colourful and replenished very often. I will definitely be back!

Had the dinner buffet on Friday night. It was not cheap , but the food was quite good. The lamb was succulent and so yummy .I found the butter chicken a bit too sweet, but still good. Will definetly go again, especially since I live in the area.

I took my 3 kids and wife. Everyone enjoyed the buffet and went back for seconds. My wife is a real foodie and even she loved the food. Fresh, tasty, spiced right for most Canadians and the Naan was fresh and hot. The beer I had was Cheetah and as advertised went great with the food. The service was attentive without being smothering. We will definitely go back.

Does anyone know if it is wheelchair accessible?

It's not wheelchair accessible due to steps up from outside.

We've been going to Indian Hut for over 8 years and it remains one of the best Indian food restaurants in Toronto, especially downtown.

Discovered this place a couple years ago with a friend and we've been coming back ever since. The service is excellent (we love the waiter we almost always seem to have; he's lovely!) and the food is SO tasty! The eggplant dish they make is to die for. My mark of a good Indian restaurant is how they make their naan bread, and theirs is second to none. They also have my favourite dessert: gulab jamun- heavenly! Highly recommended for anyone who loves Indian food, or for anyone who's never tried it before. Their buffet is a great place to try out a number of tasty dishes and satisfy your craving for some seriously good Indian food! :)
