Granite BreweryGranite Brewery is a brewpub located at Mount Pleasant and Eglinton. In addition to their Best Bitter, IPA and other homemade brews, they also serve up tasty pub grub like chicken wings, lamb curry and beer battered fish and chips.

As so many have pointed out, The Granite Brewery serves up a great assortment of homemade brews. The Mad Hopper was enjoyable and worth recommending. But unfortunately, that was the only thing I enjoyed during my vist there. My partner and I walked into the place with plans of booking the Brewery for a summer wedding. We sat down, endured the old decore and ordered food so that we could sample what they had to offer. My partner ordered chicken and pasta with asiago cheese. What he was given instead of cheese was TOFU. After pointing out the tofu (which dose not melt) we were then told by the kitchen staff that they accidentally used gorgonzola cheese. Imagine being expected to believe that bland tofu was actually gorgonzola. Simply insulting. They should have just told us the truth and taken the food back right then and there. I would warn any one who plans on booking an event where the staff can't respect you enough to be honest.

I couldn't disagree more with the poor rating and the last reviewer. This place is family run and in all my experiences here the staff have been amazing and food great. Feels like home.
