Frank was actually the Head Chef of Centro for 4 years where he worked with Executive Chef Bruce Woods. He was also Marc Thuet's Head Chef. He has not worked at Canoe or Brasaii. This information is not correct.

If you have reservations, make sure you appear. They get pissed if you don't. Voice messages for days.

I can't believe that blogger making bad comments about one of the best restaurants in Toronto. Frank's Ktichen is a small restaurant with great atmosphere, amazing food and professional service. Shame on that person who maybe needs to run his own restaurant in order to understand the business.
Frank's Kitchen will always have my support and I can't wait for my next reservation!

I made a reservation two weeks ago at Frank's Kitchen which is my very favourite restaurant in all of Toronto. Today to my dismay I happened upon TO blog, and I cannot believe this negativity, especially towards one of the owners Shawn, who is so gracious and always goes out of her way to make your night a very special occasion. I can't imagine not having the common consideration not to call and cancel if you have no intention of keeping your commitment! Because I know from my own experience and after many many visits to this treasure of a restaurant that these comments are absolutely nonsense! I called today to change my reservation to SIX instead of two and I invited my friends to enjoy this culinary delight and lovely experience which we have always had.

Aside from the very memorable culinary component of any experience I have at Frank's; the team and service is special.

Very rare to have a dining experience where all components meld into a warm blissful memory.
I applaud your efforts in the kitchen and for upholding your customers responsibility to bring the the same thoughtfulness to your establishment; as it is wildly apparent you pour much heart into your life's work.
