Federick Restaurant

Frederick RestaurantFederick has set the bar amongst hakka-lovers over the past 20 years. The hard-to-find place is tiny and carefully disguised amidst brick office buildings, but still always packed with a loyal clientele. Parking is a bit of a feat, but make the effort! The crab corn soup and chicken pakoras are worth it.

A school teacher recommended this joint to me about 19 years ago! lol and it's still going strong. Take out or dine in, food is always fresh.

*Chicken & Shrimp Shanghi Noodles
*Shrimp Fried Rice
*Sweet & Sour Chicken

are always ordered, and never fails.

Dine in can get really crowded as well as the take out window, always call ahead once you settled on your favourite dish. Super friendly staff, but the guys in the kitchen are a little extra friendly, even a little creepy if you happend to be pretty lol

Absolutely the worst service of any Chinese I have ever been to.
I had my sistes`s four year old son and they refused get him a chair. I had to walk to the other end of the restaurant, get a chair and lift above my head to get it back to our table.

If you like being treated like absolute garbage, this is the place to go.
