EthiopiquesEthiopiques is where to go for Ethiopian food near Yonge and Dundas. Found on nearby Church St., the restaurant isn't much to look at, but in the kitchen cooks churn out more than passable meat and veggie platters paired with traditional cocktails.

Just grabbed some lunch from here this afternoon. Food was decent but there could have been more meat dip in comparison to the bread. Overall, probably wouldn't trek it back out there for the food but if I was in the area then I don't see why not.

did someone just say "meat dip"? alas, i am vegetarian so i cannot comment on their meat dip, but am now fascinated and wish i could. their veg platter and pickled jalepenos are very good, but not as spicy as other places (maybe you can ask for more when ordering, idk, i always forget) the platter is the most complete i have come across when complete but they can be inconsistent. the hours on their website are def not the hours they go by. call ahead. otherwise, when at their best (seemingly the most popular dinner hours) they are very good.
