Emerald Chinese Restaurant is located in the heart of Mississauga. This place offers excellent dumpling and spring roll combinations. Price isn't too hefty on the wallet, unless you're ordering from their extravagant set menus. Make sure to bring your extended families, with line-ups out the door for dim sum brunch on weekends. Don't expect philosophical conversations from the efficient staff as they like to keep it short and sweet while carrying around delicious dim sum push carts. I recommend trying the giant crab.

I have been living in Mississauga for over 15 years, this restaurant is what the people from out of town will go to.. but if you Live in Mississauga, you know their food is nothing special. There are way better chinese food in mississauga than Emerald. Just anywhere at Golden Square (Central Parkway & Burhamthorpe) you will find the real good chinese food.
You can just see how insanely packed they are. 24/7 - that doesn't lie. The crowd is 99% Asian, which in my ignorant white mind, tells me they got to be doing something right. BUT the real proof is in the meal. Try it and see, you'll catch my wife and I there when you do. Anything at Golden Square is ok, but not comparable to Emerald's prowess.
