Duckworth's Fish & ChipsDuckworth's Fish & Chips makes some of the better fried fish in the east end. Located in the far reaches of the Danforth near Main St.

They should clean up their act in there and renovate the place. For crying out loud, the loyal customers deserve it. Call Restaurant Makeover if you're too cheap to pay for it with all the profits you've made over the years. Your fish and chips are good - you'll get more business if you make it comfortable for all the classes.

The location on Kingston Rd in Scarborough is far superior. Cleaner, nicer staff, better ambiance, and the food is fresher & tastier! Go there. It's worth the extra distance. The Danforth location has been run down for decades. It must be completely different management or something...

i've eaten, occasionally, at both of the duckworthses. but the danforth location is a lot closer to me, and for takeout, that means twice as cold when i get back, so the closer one wins out, at least for me.

and then there's the idea of being a "locavore" and environmental responsibility and all that - besides, the SUV burns a TON of gas going all the way out there!

I didn't like it at all. Fish has no flavor fries are greasy.
Staff doesn't look happy. Too bad and so sad.
