Service was fast friendly and efficient. The ban-chan was served in generous portions that covered a wide variety of traditional favorites including kimchi, potatoes, cooked pork, Korean pancake, vegetables etc.
We ordered the gam-ja tang to share which was more than enough for the four of us, but equally delicious. The broth was cooked to perfection, tasteful and thick, not too salty. We also had the tang-su-yook and fish stew. Tang-su-yook very light and soft with sweet sauce, not overdone at all.
The food is more than one would expect when hitting a local Korean restaurant, which nowadays usually cater to more of a fusion taste. However, Dae Bak covers the authentic traditional tastes of real Korean cooking and food back home while still maintaining a comfortable and easy-going feel in the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Definitely a must try and will go back.
