Chopsticks King TorontoChopsticks King is a take-out Chinese restaurant in Pape Village. The menu includes all the standard "North American" Chinese offerings like egg rolls, chop suey and chicken fried rice. There's also an assortment on fast food faves like onion rings, chicken wings and french fries.

We used to like this place to satisfy our fake Chinese food cravings. Although most a la carte menu items had too much celery for our liking, the dinner combo that we order didn't, and it was greasy but pretty tasty.
Tonight, we ordered our typical combo, and received... well... a nasty pile of overcooked, almost inedible "food". The chicken balls are overcooked (and in old oil, I suspect), the chicken wings undercooked, the neon pink "sweet and sour sauce" is now a orange, tasteless mess, and the chicken with broccoli had horrible quality chicken with a bunch of celery (which wasn't there before). THe fried rice is now void of peas (which we liked). When we called to inquire/complain about the obvious decrease in quality, we were informed that the management has changed.
We will not be ordering from Chopsticks King again. So re-begins our search for a joint to satisfy our fake Chinese food cravings.
