The Burrito House on the Danforth serves basic, tasty beef and chicken burritos. Sadly, there aren't any fish burritos on the menu.

I love the Burrito House! The ingredients are fresh, and put together in the right proportions so that no one ingredient overpowers another. Also, there is very little burrito leakage, and the guac is fantastic. Burritos go best with the Guava Jarritos soda.

This establishment is freaking horrible! I have been living in Toronto for two months now, and I eat out regularly (2-3) times a week. Not only is this the worst burrito I have had, it was the worst meal I have had in this beautiful city. It was probably the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. Do not waste your money on this place... you will be very unhappy. The inside is dirty, scummy, disgusting, horrid... words cannot explain.

YUCK!

BIG FAT BURRITO!

Are you serious? Burrito House is delicious. Sure the place lacks a little pizzaz but they try to have it funky and the food is awesome. Toughen up Dude and enjoy the food!!

I have given this place 3 separate attempts and each one has been a huge disappointment. I will no longer throw good money at a bad experience.

The burritos have been consistently cold, one bug mush of indistinct flavours...every time I ask for extra guacamole it is barely visible and undetectable in taste and texture. At $7.22 for a large bean and cheese it is a huge rip off.

The staff ( usually there's just one person ) seem distracted, unwelcoming and in my last experience ...bored. The owner was in the back kitchen with his server, they saw me enter but didn't acknowledge- took their time to come to the counter to take my order.

With much better burrito places in town such as Burrito Brothers, Big Fat Burrito and Z-teca to name a few - the next burrito craving I'll have to trek west...the east is sadly lacking in this department.

Really?! Are we talking about the same place?!? What guac?? I'm serious...I have yet to taste any guacamole in my burrito even after requesting extra and paying 40¢ for the privilege!
Perhaps I'm too spoiled with great Mexican food from California or Mexico...Canada has a long way to go.
Sure, I suppose the ingredients are fresh, I'll give them that much...but this place is a definite thumbs down.

Jarritos Guava soda is the best!
