Bombay Express TorontoBombay Express has taken over a subterranean space on Church Street south of Wellesley. The Indian restaurant focused exclusively on take-out, delivery and catering. Menu highlights include butter chicken, saag paneer and mango lassi.

Worst Indian Food ever: Messed up the order, the naans were soggy, food tasted sweet. Plz avoid this restaurant or get disappointed.

I checked Bombay Express out awhile after it opened, on my way home after beers with friends. I ask for a Chicken Biryani, seeing the steam table, asked to pay&wait 15 minutes, to be made fresh. Opted for chicken in spicy red curry sauce, veggie spiced basmati rice,- server wanted to put it all in a tiny circular styrofoam container so I asked for each in their own container, the chicken filled with the sauce it was in & a small side of plain basmati rice, was offered naan&raita&pop & I passed,it was good, not special or great. It all fit on a regular size 8" plate. Except for the $14,portion size- tiny styrofoam, asked to pay&wait, got thru it.
