Boehmer TorontoBoehmer is the first restaurant by Toronto chef Paul Boehmer (ex. Ultra Supper Club, Spoke Club) and finally he has a place he can let his cooking do the talking. Still, food is just half the story here - with the impressively designed space and luscious line-up of cocktails garnering well deserved attention.

New cocktail list coming out next week at Boehmer, with new bar staff and new management. FYI.

terrible . over priced food for the quality they're putting out. And it's coming out on awkward plates! My salad came on the most ridiculous skinny long bowl like plate? - made no sense. Server also neglected my table (of 2) to flirt with the 905 bachelorette party

Went for dinner late Sat. evening without a reservation. There happened to be a table just leaving and the hostess assured us she would clean it right away - 20 minutes later we were sitting. Another 20 minutes later someone came by to take our drink order, and you can imagine how the rest of the evening went. The service was absolutely terrible, with no attempt made to apologize for it. It would have been understandable had our section been busy, but it wasn't and the server would simply disappear. That said, the food was good.
