BOCCA, an Italian restaurant located on a prime corner in Baldwin Village serves up pasta, grilled meats and other traditional Italian dishes.

Good food bad service. When we got their we sat outside on one of the tables and the waiter didn't even clean it with a cloth or anything he just let us sit their.... the waiter wasnt very nice he didnt ask how we were or anything. When we ordered food it took forever to come.... the waiter didnt come ask us how the food was. After we finished the waiter took our plates then he didn`t come back. I had to go into the restaurant and ask for the bill and bring it back to my table. Needless to say even though the food was good, the service was horrible. It`s a pity.

I'm suprised by this review, I've consistently gotten great service at Bocca, always friendly and on the ball. Sometimes it gets a little busy unexpectedly and I've seen their servers book it across the restaurant - but we still got good service. I have always liked what I order - some more than others but all in all this is a place i would recommend.

I agree with Foodie here. But I think it's because I got a bad waitress! And yeah we constantly had to go in the restaurant for napkins, the bill, etc. Other than that the food was great! Especially their pizzas.
