Best Shawarma PlaceBest Shawarma Place has one of the better deals in the downtown core. $5.50 gets you a huge shawarma stuffed with chicken and fresh toppings, all marinated in a garlic sauce. The two guys that work here are hilarious and joke with most of the customers who come in.

Wow. I know good shawarma is hard to find, but this is the first one I've actually spit out and thrown in the garbage. Bland, no-flavour chicken full of fat and gristle. They do heap the veggies in there which is nice, but the garlic sauce and hot sauce don't do a thing to increase or improve the flavour. This sandwich was blander than baloney on Wonder bread. Those who crave shawarma would do better to walk two blocks north to Falafel House.

This was the worst Shwarma i've ever had. Seriously, no taste in the meat, no taste in the sauces, and small servings. The reviewer must not have actually gone to this place because I've lived in eaten shwarma from all over Ontario and nothing comes close to being as bad as this place.

Saddened to read the comments above. I have always found the shawarmas OK but I prefer the sis kofte (large meat balls) excellent (no need for chili sauce).

Is this place still around? Walked by earlier this week and couldn't find it.
