Asahi Japanese Restaurant
Asahi used to have the monopoly on Japanese eats before Omi moved in down the street. No longer able to win over locals desperate for some fresh raw fish, it's two lures are its lower price point (compared to Omi) and AYCE dinner option.

Great mom and Pops sushi shop. The sashimi is plentiful and FRESH! The rice is delicate and doused in rice wine vinegar (truly authentic) so don't over do the soya sausce (which is also excellent and not the off the shelf, 'salty' eco brands).
Overall i have have to say it's probably one of the best tasting sushi places around. also, a great gyoza.
I love this little sushi spot, the owners are very nice and friendly and the sashimi is out of this world. The sushi pizza is also some of the best I have ever had and the goyza is made fresh and delicious.
This restaurant is NOT AYCE you have a limit to 20pc of sashimi each. The waitress watched us order and told us that she will charge us the full price of everything we don't finish.
The place was empty, the food was too greasy.
The sashimi was good, but overall I would not go back there EVER again. I say stick to Sushi on 7 or Tenichi!!
