Aquila TorontoAquila is an Italian restaurant in the Junction that also occasionally host live music. Pasta, a bison striploin and jerk chicken are mainstays on the dinner menu.

Can anyone comment on this place? Finding it hard to step foot in there when you see "business for sale" signs and the place is completely empty.

I was there this winter and although there weren't many people, the service was great and we had a good meal. We had a rambunctious 3-year-old with us and they were super nice about it. I haven't been back lately though so I don't know if anything has changed.

Yes, it's still there. Great live music upstairs (with a nice patio for the summer). Food is excellent with a range of great pub food upstairs. Main floor has tablecloths and more of the italian menu - very classy, very nice cooking at reasonable rates. José has got an Oklahoma Wood Smoker out back. The beef ribs cooked on the smoker are the best I've had. Parking at the Green P next door is very easy and convenient.

The wait staff are real nice folks too.

This place looks so ghetto with their neon green sign and empty dining room, but I really enjoyed my food.
Go in the summer and sit on the rooftop patio!
