Being voted the best Indian restaurant in Etobicoke by the Etobicoke Guardian might not sound like much, but the Maharani dining lounge at the Queen's Arms is a magnificent culinary surprise. The butter chicken is to die for. The curry, tandoori and thali dishes rival any in the city. And in the adjacent room is a hefty selection of beer imports from around the UK. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but pop in for delightful British Indian cuisine, almost all dishes are under $10.

Haven't eaten there but the little pub (and I do mean little!) is as authentic as you can get outside the Isles.

There's a sign in the window claiming they've been under renovation and will re-open in Fall 2010. Seeing how that's come and passed, anyone know what happened?
