ART | Petheadz
Photographer Zach Rose believes owners look like their pets and takes the idea to a new level. Cleverly placing DSLR captured images of dog's heads atop the bodies of their owners, Rose's Petheadz is an amusing photo series in which humans and their pets become one (in a non-demented way). Opening tonight at 2186dundas, the show will run until next week. Keep an eye on the gallery's Twitter account (@2186dundas) to see if the rumours of open Petheadz portrait sessions are true.

FOOD | Tasty Thursdays
Nathan Phillips Square becomes CafĂŠ Cubano during lunch hours today for Tasty Thursdays, a music and food series in front of City Hall designed to get people out of the office and into the square. Participating restaurants will serve Cuban fare while live Cuban salsa performances take place between 11AM and 2PM. Each week during Tasty Thursdays, a different culture is represented with free music and lunch foods for under $7.

BOOZE | VINTAGES Summer BBQ
Thursday nights were made for barbeques and wine by the water so VINTAGES has organized an evening of summer food and drink pairings to make the average wine buyer more confident in their selections. If you're serious enough about becoming a wino, the $65 price tag will be no sweat to learn about grapes, flavours and new wines that VINTAGES will be releasing this summer. The evening will include free meals, wine tastings and live performances. Must be legal drinking age to attend.
Corus Quay (25 Dockside Drive) 6:30PM $65

FUNDRAISER | Boys' Night Out
A wine tasting for a cause--and a reason for men to get reckless and rowdy--Boys' Night Out will be raising funds for prostate cancer research. Hosted by Lifford Wine & Spirits and presented by Audi Downtown Toronto, the evening is essentially a bachelor party in disguise with cars, boats and motorcycles on display, barbequed food and oysters as well as live entertainment and auctions. Funds raised will go directly toward Prostate Cancer Canada and The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Tickets are available through Lifford Wine's website.
Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Avenue) 7PM $100

MUSIC | The Edwards Summer Music Series: Gardens of Song featuring Darrelle London
The amazing and gorgeous music in the park series at Edwards Gardens continues tonight with a performances by Darelle London. The whimsical indie piano-pop gem is currently celebrating the release of her latest album Eat A Peach and will play the Gardens of Song series tonight, weather permitting. As always, this event is free and seating is supplied by Toronto Botanical Garden. If the TTC cooperates, this is well worth the trip northbound. The performance starts at 7PM sharp.
Toronto Botanical Garden (777 Lawrence Avenue East) 7PM Free
