FOOD | Food For Thought
The spirit of competition is a wonderful thing, but never more wonderful than when it involves chefs battling it out to prepare tasty dishes, and hoping to win your vote. If that sounds to good to be true, then the Food For Thought cooking competition is where you should be tonight! Chefs from Barque Smokehouse, Lou Dawg's BBQ, and Two Bite Saloon will be doing their best to curry favour with your tastebuds: delish appetizers will be prepared, and served with the appropriate craft beer. You will deliver judgment, and also feel great knowing that one dollar from each beer goes to the charity Breakfast for Learning. May the best chef win!!
Beer Academy (75 Victoria Street) 6PM $25 (includes a app from each chef and 3 beers)

ART | Animal of Desire

This show focuses on drawings of animals, in a variety of contexts, and with a variety of behaviours and body language exhibited. Tomorrow night is the reception for Animal Desire, but the official opening is this afternoon, and you can peruse Ng's work from noon until five o'clock today. The exhibition runs until July 23rd.

MUSIC | Euphonia & Lula Music And Arts Centre Present
Euphonia is an ensemble bringing what most describe as "Classical music" into a different sort of venue that is a departure from the traditional concert hall. Tonight is the second edition of Euphonia's Cool Classics For a Toronto Summer event: an evening of music at Lula Lounge, a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with great food and drink that is unpretentious and far from stuffy. Tonight's program includes Bach's Sinfonia in F, Vivaldi's Concerto in F RV569, Haydn's Symphony #7, and more. This could easily be the start of something great for "Classical Music" and Toronto audiences alike.
Lula Lounge (1585 Dundas Street West) 7PM $10
