ART | Opening Reception: Derek Wong at Hotel Ocho
Art Gallery of Ontario exhibiting artist Derek Wong overtakes two floors of Spadina's Hotel Ocho lobby in an effort to explain reinvention and revitalization. The exhibit is fitting for the reopening of the hotel, which is a century-old, former cigar factory heritage building. White canvases with bright colours and curved shapes fill the lobby of the historic space for the opening reception tonight. The event is free but RSVPs are appreciated through the Facebook event page.
