Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky has been receiving plenty of attention throughout 2012 and makes yet another return to Toronto while on his LONGLIVEA$AP headlining tour. Joined by Danny Brown and A$AP Mob, Rocky plays music off his late 2011 mixtape LIVELOVEA$AP as he works on recording a full-length studio album, due out next year. The show is positioned to sell out so purchase A$AP.

FOOD & DRINK | 8th Annual Chilean Wine Festival
With Chile churning out some of the best reds in recent years, it is only natural that the Royal Ontario Museum continues the tradition of the Chilean Wine Festival. Playing host to the 8th annual event, 30 Chilean wineries will bring over 150 wines to introduce to Canadian sommeliers, connoisseurs and wine lovers at this year's show. This one-day only event includes tastings and plenty of food pairings to satisfy all palates. Tickets are available through the Wines of Chile website.

BOOKS & LIT | Border Crossings: An 'Erotic' Affair Book Launch
The challenge of diaspora as it relates to race and culture is approached in Border Crossings: An 'Erotic' Affair, a new book of essays by artists and writers Sylvat Aziz, Meral Pasha and Mesma Belsare. Launching tonight at Toronto Women's Bookstore, the work examines gender displacement and cultural loss, as it is relevant to women. There will be readings by Dina Georgis and a presentation by Meral Pasha with food and refreshments served. The book will be available for $10 at the launch with all proceeds going towards Toronto Women's Bookstore.

ART | Opening Reception: Derek Wong at Hotel Ocho
Art Gallery of Ontario exhibiting artist Derek Wong overtakes two floors of Spadina's Hotel Ocho lobby in an effort to explain reinvention and revitalization. The exhibit is fitting for the reopening of the hotel, which is a century-old, former cigar factory heritage building. White canvases with bright colours and curved shapes fill the lobby of the historic space for the opening reception tonight. The event is free but RSVPs are appreciated through the Facebook event page.
