ART | The Origin of The Sun: A Tribute to Japan
This event will be a night overflowing with love and support for Japan. Photographs of Japan by Toronto artists as well as paintings, illustrations and original artwork will be for sale with all the proceeds going to the Canadian Red Cross. DJ Serious and DJ Numeric will provide the night's soundtrack. Come early to show your support, and go home with maybe a piece or two!

THEATRE | Shakespeare Toronto: Macbeth
If you haven't yet seen a theatre production of Macbeth you, A) might be living under a rock and B) should give your Macbeth virginity to the Bathurst Street Theatre's rendition, happening tonight. Shakespeare Toronto is bringing this production to the stage for one night only and it is destined to be an epic event full of blood and tragedy.

FASHION | Ryerson University School of Fashion presents Mass Exodus 2011: Zenith & Nadir
After another thrill-filled Fashion Week, you might be jonesing for a little fix now that it's all over. If this is the case, look to Ryerson's Fourth Year Fashion scholars for a little fix. Tonight they bring to the runway their innovative show, Exodus 2011: Zenith & Nadir. The top 25 students' pieces will be featured making for a hearty fill of budding young fashion.

FILM | Littlerock @ The Royal
Winner of the "Best Film Not Playing at a Theatre Near You" award at the Gotham Independent Film Awards, Littlerock is the story of a Japanese student who gets lost in a small desert town in California. From there she uncovers a whole world unchartered, one full of friendship, romance, freedom and discovery. The Royal Cinema - a Toronto landmark - is pleased to be bringing Littlerock to our big city. Opening night is tonight and you definitely don't want to miss this one.

THEATRE | The Simian Showcase
There are few combos that rival a little good ole fashioned theatre and a cocktail or two and what better place to showcase this serendipity than at The Imperial Pub? Monkeyman Productions is presenting The Simian Showcase tonight at said locale; a series of four short plays "containing the themes of geek/fanatic/pop culture." Bring an open mind and a friend or two. The show opens tonight and will run through until April 16.
