Radar: Escape The Fate, Valentine's Day Cabaret: Love Hurts with Lily Frost, WORN Fashion Journal's 4th Annual Heartbreak Karaoke, Film Buffet Double Bill

MUSIC | Escape The Fate
Las Vegas' post-harcore rockers Escape The Fate hit town tonight. Nothing brings a band together to pound out their best on stage like defying adversity, and this group has seen their share of challenges, and 'personnel issues'. Their self-titled album, which came out at the end of last year, featured writing collabs with John 5 (Rob Zombie), and Jay Gordon (Orgy), and did quite well with the critics, and on the charts. They are joined on the bill by Alesana, Motionless In White, Get Scared, and Drive A.
Phoenix Concert Theatre (410 Sherbourne Street) 6:30PM $21

MUSIC | Valentine's Day Cabaret: Love Hurts with Lily Frost
Singer/songwriter Lily Frost has put together a great show, and the Drake has put together a superb three-course dinner menu that makes this the place to take your special someone this evening. Opening the musical proceedings is The Houseplants, and we are promised special guests throughout the show, including Frost's partner, JosĂŠ Contreras of By Divine Right, Buck 65, Andrew Rodrigues, and more.
The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street) 8PM $58 (dinner + show)

MUSIC | WORN Fashion Journal's 4th Annual Heartbreak Karaoke
A wonderfully subversive take on Valentine's Day celebrations: karaoke with sad songs of love and heartbreak! Worn Fashion Journal's 4th Annual "Heartbreak Karaoke" will help you get it all out and feel better. They have compiled a great list of tunes that will get you 'verklempt' and wearing your heart on your sleeve!
The Supermarket (268 Augusta Avenue) 9pm $7 / $5 if you wear red

FILM | Film Buffet Double Bill
A great vintage double-bill this evening, dubbed "Double Love". "First Love" from 1939, starring Deanna Durbin and Robert Stack, is a comic romp based on the Cinderella story: perfect for Valentine's Day. The second feature is "Glamour Boy", with Jackie Cooper, Susanna Foster, and Jackie Searl starring in this tale of an ex-child star whose career is on the wane. As always, an informative introduction will be provided by veteran actor Art Hindle.
Innis College Town Hall Theatre (2 Sussex Avenue) 7:30PM $15
