Radar: Boudoir Bazaar, Tensnake, Delorean, Jamie Oliver, Switch Marketing

MUSIC I Delorean w/ Lemonade, Small Black & Class Actress @ Mod Club
Their second time in Toronto this year (the first time they were severely delayed due to border woes), Delorean is back to take over the Mod Club stage tonight. Spain is a hot pot of delicious musical talent these days, and Delorean is no exception. Making music that that will have your feet moving before your head can catch up, Delorean's modern pop, dance-infused beats are homage to technology of a different time; not unlike the band's name. Supported by Lemonade, Small Black and Class Actress, all bands who left their mark at SXSW and are due to make the same impression here in Toronto.
The Mod Club (722 College Street) 10pm $15

FOOD I The Art of Cooking - An Evening with Jamie Oliver
Looking to brush up on your cooking skills in preparation for the holiday season? If you really want to knock the socks off family and friends, attack this with the same gusto you would last night's leftovers. With Jamie Oliver's much-anticipated and long overdue return to our city, you have a chance to learn from the culinary maestro himself. Leave those cooking magazines for the less-motivated and run, cycle, or TTC it down to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre tonight to see Oliver's skills firsthand as he delivers a live demonstration and shares his wisdom.
Metro Toronto Convention Centre - North Building (255 Front Street West)
7pm $89 (discount with blogTO promo code JN29)

NETWORKING I Evening of Cocktails w/ Common Craft & Switch Marketing
In a world overrun by the latest and greatest in technological innovations, sometimes the simplest things can be the most powerful way to engage an audience. It's like we all need to slow down time and time again, and if you happen to be there at the exact right time, the result can be serendipitous. Lee Lefever of Common Craft and Andrew Angus of Switch Marketing were ready to pounce at the right moment and now they have become leaders in developing simple explanatory videos for big businesses (think Google, Microsoft, Waste Management). Join them tonight at the Dark Horse Espresso Bar to talk shop.
Dark Horse Espresso Bar (215 Spadina Avenue) 7pm Free

FASHION I Boudoir Bazaar Pt. II - Vaudeville Thrill
Get in touch with your sultry side ladies with a little help of 69 Vintage Collective and friends. Boudoir Bazaar Pt. II is full of all things provocative from vintage lingerie to lacey bustiers, thigh-highs and silk knickers. They say the best way to feel sexy lives in your undergarments so spice things up a notch with a little inspiration straight from this vintage boutique's boudoir to yours. Don your red lips and come sip sparkly drinks, enjoy a live burlesque show and go home hotter than you came.
69 Vintage Collective (1207 Bloor Street West) 9pm Free

MUSIC I Tensnake w/ Special Guests @ Wrongbar 3 Year Anniversary Party
Wrongbar has become a lasting establishment on the Queen West strip, a stretch that tends to see just as many doors shut as doors open. Tonight is their three-year anniversary, a milestone worth some serious recognition and of course a sick celebration to match. Germany's Tensnake will be funking up the house for this Parkdale birthday of the year. Buzzed as one of the hottest producers this fall, you don't want to miss this. Special guests include Toronto's very own Dirty Dale and Jeremy Glenn.
Wrongbar (1279 Queen Street West) 9pm $10
