Ryus Noodle Bar, a Tokyo Cafe Style Noodle Bar on Baldwin is continuing their popular noodle & ramen tasting with Toronto Common every Monday in June for $20 tax and tip included with just 6 tickets for each event!

Starter (5 kinds of small plate)

Ryus Mini Meat Platter with

- Sous-vide AAA Roast Beef

- Super slow simmered Pork Belly (Cha-Su)

- Sous-vide Chicken Breast

All served with Yuzu pepper, sweet & spicy ginger paste, House special XO sauce and special truffle oil.

* sous-vide is a French term for vacuum packing meat or other items in a water bath and cooking it at a precise temperature.

Ramen Noodle Bowl Sampler (4 kinds)

Shio Ramen, their signature soup prepared over 50 hrs including to extract the most flavour out of the added dried scallop, dried shrimp, dried clam, dried cuttlefish, and dried bonito with rock and sea salt.

Spicy Miso Ramen, tofu, spicy bean, Chinese spices and mixed vegetables

NEW Edamame Potage Noodle, ramen noodles in a thick cold edamame soup.

NEW Cold Salad Noodle, with chopped chicken and pork in a sweet & spicy sesame sauce

Ryus owner, originally from Tokyo, has over 15 years experience in restaurants including everything from a Chinese restaurant in Japan to an izakaya and yakitori bar in Vancouver as well as a lot of French influence.

Recent winner of the Ramen Run-Off at the 2013 Fortune Cooking Festival, Ryus focuses on quality broths and accompaniments served in the traditional fast casual style of a Tokyo Cafe Noodle Bar. Like the cafes of Tokyo, Ryus draws inspiration from many cuisines and looks to evolve Japanese cuisine.

Even their sous-vide AAA roast beef, vacuum cooked in a French style and served with their House XO Sauce (a traditional Chinese sauce) and Truffle Oil is under $10.

All tickets must be purchased online before 11pm Sunday, June 1st, 2014.

No tickets will be available at the door.

Minimum attendance: 4 people

Maximum attendance: 7 people

This is a communal event, guests will be seated with other guests.
