Welcome to the Festival Debut of the Megan Jutting Sextet!

We are honoured to be playing at Placebo Space as part of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival. This group plays mainly jazz standards with some originals as well. Our specialty is developing to be swanky swing mmm.

We are very lucky to be joined by the beautiful Kalya Ramu who will add some lyrics to our music. Also, our lovely guitarist is out of town so we have enlisted Felix Wong to help our harmony department.

The group is as follows:

Megan Jutting - Trumpet, Arrangements & Compositions, People-wrangling.

Ben McCarroll-Butler - Saxophones, Woodwinds, Arrangements & Compositions, Sextet's "Most Instruments Played" Award.

Margaret Nishimura - Trombone, Master of the Blues.

Irene Harrett - Big Bass and Little Bass, foundation of swank and extra awesomeness credit since I forgot to include her on the first pass of the roster oupsies sorry

Brendan Mariani - Drums, Swing Maintenance.

And special guests:

Felix Wong - Keyboard, Melodica, Chords.

Kalya Ramu - Vocals, Lyrics, Disproportionately raising the average beauty of the band.
