The Alumnae Theatre opens the season on the MainStage with Escape From Happiness, part of George F. Walker's East End Trilogy. A bizarre event in a dysfunctional family prompts an incident of brutality in this intensely dark original Canadian comedy. Director Andrea Wasserman describes the play as an exploration of the most tender moments at the most violent times.
