Ultimate Fighter Ivan Salaverry

Toronto native Ivan Salaverry will be in the main event of the Ultimate Fighting Championship event Ultimate Fight Night on August 6th live on Spike TV when he takes on veteran fighter Nathan Marquardt.

Salaverry is a very methodical fighter with a strong head on his shoulders, a big watcher of video tape of his opponents' previous bouts, and is equipped with extremely well-rounded technique for the fight game. Salaverry, a former social worker in Toronto, also has a very amicable personality and an abundance of passion for what he does. I had the chance to conduct a phone interview with him about his upcoming bout.
