The Blogerati Files: Zorblog

This week in the Blogerati Files - "Zorblog"

Describe your blog in ten words or less.
Eclectic.

Why did you start your blog? What's your blogiversary?
Honestly, because "everyone else was doing it." I've never really been a chronicler but the internet has given me the medium to do so. I officially got the zorblog.com domain on June 27, 2002, but I've had an online journal since 1999.

Do you have a favourite post from your blog?
Premature Plans - My future wedding plans have gotten even simpler since writing that post.

Who are your fav bloggers?
Dooce - this has probably been said a million times, but Heather is fucking hilarious. And takes such great pictures.
Snappy Hour - beautiful designs, creative ranting.

also, Babs, Meredi, Accordion Guy

Best blogger hangout in TO?
I haven't really been to a blogger meetup, but I'll say C'est What. A lovely place to hang out regardless of the occasion.

Ever met a stranger who already knew you through your blog? How was that?
Accordion Guy, Meredi. 2 weeks ago I met Babs in person for the first time - we've known each other online for almost 10 years.

Someday I will probably run into Kelly or Trish - from reading their blogs, we seem to frequent similar places.

What's happening in Toronto right now that the rest of us should be watching?
Leafs hockey! I don't care if they suck! Go see Wicked at the Canon Theatre in fall 2006. oh, and try Izakaya. You'll never look at ramen the same way ever again.

Choose someone, living or dead, to write your biography. Why did you make that choice?
Dooce. It would be the funniest book ever.

You wake up and discover you're a flesh eating zombie. Now that you're undead, who are you gonna mange first?
A former high school friend who I won't mention by name. And I'd stay away from my boyfriend Greg, I bought him the Zombie Survival Guide for his birthday last year, and he'd try to shoot me in the head or decapitate me.

If your blog were a food, what food would it be?
Crispy spicy beef from Kom Jug Yuen on Spadina.

If you could gather all of the bloggers of the world together into one room and tell them one thing, what would it be
STFU and GBTW.

Anything else you'd like to add...
If anyone needs a personal trainer or a piano teacher, I am available.
