Occupy Toronto put in national context


If you've ever wondered just how widespread the Occupy movement is throughout the country, this map from the CBC might help to put our local protest into context. Occupy Toronto is but one of 14 significant encampments that have taken hold across Canada. With the exception of the protest in Saskatoon, each of these local movements is still underway, with many of the occupiers echoing the sentiments of those at St. James Park — they plan on staying the winter.
