Virus warning from Canada Post


Canada Post is warning customers that a computer virus is being propagated on the web, using fake package deliver notifications delivered via email to lure unsuspecting victims.

In a news release issued by Canada Post reveals:

Please be advised that if you received an email suggesting that Canada Post is attempting to deliver a package and requests that you open the email attachment in order to affect delivery, the email is fraudulent, likely contains a virus, and the package does not exist. Please do not open the attachment.
