Toronto ranks last in Ontario in organ donation

The Toronto Star has published the rather eye-opening results of a study on organ donation.

Up in North Bay, over 40% of residents are registered organ donors, while here in Toronto neighbourhoods just 4% to 8% agree to give up their organs upon death. As a city, we rank last in this regard.

The Star also has some revealing maps to go along with the statistics.

Other cities:
Hamilton - 25%
London - 20%
Ottawa - 15%
