Don Valley Parkway closed for maintenance this weekend

The Don Valley Parkway will be closed this weekend for annual spring maintenance. The closure starts on Saturday, April 24 at 2 a.m. and extends to Monday, April 26 at 5 a.m.

Some of the items on the maintenance agenda include: repainting pavement markings and sign maintenance, guiderail and asphalt repair, closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera inspection, and the installation of a new changeable message sign.

Best bets as far as alternative routes go are Victoria Park Ave., Don Mills Rd. and Bayview Ave.
