Daniel Fred and Julie

Audio & Video: Rihanna and Drake drop official video from their collaboration, The Rest visit Southern Souls, Snowblink & Owen Pallett live from Switzerland, Daniel, Fred & Julie get comfy on Camera Music, & Pete Vandyk offers up a free download

It seems to have been a slow week for Toronto's Audio/Video releases, possibly due to so many of my favourite acts being in Switzerland for the Heartland Music Festival. In fact, I've got Snowblink and Toronto's Owen Pallett covering Berlin's famous Top Gun song "Take My Breath Away" from Heartland, as well as video courtesy of Aux featuring another festival act Daniel, Fred & Julie. For fans of Toronto's biggest hip hop export, Drake, the official video for Rihanna's track "What's My Name" featuring him is now available. Plus, we have a Southern Souls session from the Rest. Last up, to help share some MP3 love, is Hamilton Music Award nominee Pete Vandyk, offering up a free download of his track "Canadian Boy."

Recent Hamilton Music Award nominee, Pete Vandyk, has been busy trying to make a name for himself down in Nashville, Tennessee, but will be back in the GTA for the award show at the McIntyre Theatre in Mohawk College. In celebration, he is offering a free download off his album Pete Vandyk & the Second Hand Band - the single "Canadian Boy." [MP3]
