Vashti Bunyan & The Great Lake Swimmers: Preview

She had disappeared to raise her children and tender animals for roughly 30 years, leaving the music scene and leading her own relaxing life. Little did she realize that her brand of folk (or her as a pioneer folk artist) would influence some of the artists we know and love today. After so many years, she is back with a refined setting but with the same old music.

Vashti Bunyan, well-known for her release Just Another Diamond Day, has assembled a band and has embarked on a North American tour. Bunyan will be playing The Harbourfront Centre on October 3rd along with the quiet-hum of Toronto, The Great Lake Swimmers.

For you major Vashti fans, she is performing material from both of her albums (Diamond Day and Lookaftering) plus some rare material from unreleased recorded sessions. My advice? Grab tickets before they're gone!!!
