Beats, Breaks & Culture @ Harbourfront Centre
It's been a great weekend of free performances at the Harbourfront Centre. Prefuse 73 put on a solid performance, but the word on the street was that The Juan Maclean, Jamie Lidell and Cadence Weapon stole the show.
If you're not a World Cup or Molson Indie fan, you can still catch the last few performances ending around 6pm.
If anyone has photos, please add them to the BlogTO Flickr group. We'd love to see them!

(And P.S. - Konono stole the show!! Congolese raves 4 lyfe!)
mclean played for two minutes and mstrkrft were total lame-sauce. lidell beat-boxed, sang and was wearing a kimono not a robe. and i really don't understand anyone slagging his electronic stuff - it's called beats, breaks and culture, there's going to be an electronic component. sheesh. but, overall, agreed that konono was tops.
