I've got to help a friend move this weekend (bleh) but I'm hoping to save some energy for tonight's The Academy - Hip Hop History Club Part 2 at the El Mocambo (464 Spadina Ave.).

The event's conceit features Toronto emcees/singers (and a turntablist) performing tributes to 90's hip hop classics. On deck will be Zaki (who must think I'm stalking her from all the blogging I've done about her), MasiaOne (see my review of her last show), Mindbender, Eternia and more.

I'm going in expecting to hear renditions of Tribe, Nas, maybe even some Rakim. Jesse and the gang at TheCyberkrib always do it up lovely so I'm expecting some good sh*t.

I've managed to save up roughly $34033 in my bank account, but I'm not sure if I should buy a house or not. Do you think the market is stable or do you think that home prices will decrease by a lot?
