Zoi Zoi & Boom Boom
This Saturday, the French Pop party Zoi Zoi returns to The Boat for what is sure to be another wild event. Similar to the 50's and 60's themed parties The Boat has hosted in the past, you can be sure that people will be dressed-to-impress and dancing 'til the wee hours of the morning.
This monthly club night is very quickly gaining popularity, especially since word spread that French pop isn't as painfully horrible as you might expect. Expect a line-up any time after 10:30 pm.
If it turns out you're freezing your striped stockings off in line, or just aren't feeling the hipster/scenester vibe and exclusively French pop music, just walk a bit farther north to Rancho Relaxo (300 College St) for Sophisticated Boom Boom, "A Dance Party for Underdogs". I expect this event to have a friendlier and more open attitude, with all the same wild and crazy costumes and dancing we've come to expect from Zoi Zoi.
