Liam Titcomb and Spiral Beach

Posted by Kristine / November 16, 2005

05nov16liam.jpgCleaning out my wallet I found the business card. It was for Liam Titcomb, a very pretty young lad I had met in the subway just before Halloween. He had been with some friends singing at the top of their lungs.

"Pick a key!" I yelled at them - as I could see they were a bunch of high school kids. Imagine my surprise when I got 4 part harmony.

Anyway, Liam - who has a recording contract with Sony- is currently on tour.

As for his friends, aka Spiral Beach, they will be playing at the Drake Hotel on Monday November 21 at 9:30pm. No cover and you get free food.

Can't beat that in this town.

Liam is a very talented boy. I actually had Spiral Beach booked at a show about 2 years ago, and Liam played congas that night with them. Check out his tune, Rose of Jericho. All I can say is wow!

If you haven't seen Spiral Beach, they're brilliant!

Spiral Beach also plays as an act in Eugene Ripper's FAST FOLK UNDERGROUND, tonight [Thursday] at the Drake.... 'round 8:30pm, I suspect.

Spiral Beach is one of the greatest bands around. See them before they get discovered. You can't help but have a great time when you hear The Beach!
