Run With The Kittens

Every Tuesday, Run With The Kittens plays an energy filled show at Cameron House, 408 Queen St. West. The band could be described as humour-funk and knows how to seriously rock the room.

The best part is how the audience gets involved, yelling out song requests and getting the occasional lapdance from lead man Neal. Songs about Parkdale, and gold chains, to the romantic balled entitled 'Let's Make Fuck' keep you amused, entertained, and coming back each week.

The prices at Cameron House are maybe a bit high, and the waiter Andy, a bit stinky, but I've never regretted going on a Tuesday. You can't drink on their front patio either, as Andy will inform you multiple times if you are even close to the door with a drink in your hand. Thanks Andy, I didn't hear you when you yelled it the first time.

My dad, Jim the Fisherman, had a chance to play with the band on stage at the Perriwinkle Festival last weekend. He told me the story about how confused they were when he caught them off guard in the sound booth when he told them about how all the other bands had been introducing themselves. Pay attention next time boys, teehee, the Fisherman will reel you in everytime.
