The Inbreds Reunion Show

Posted by / March 8, 2005

The Inbreds are playing a one time reunion show this Friday at Lee's Palace. Tickets are $7 at the door. Long before we had Lightning Bolt and Death From Above 1979, we had the original drum and bass duo from Halifax via Kingston. But noise these guys were not. Harnessing Mike O'Neil's sweet sweet voice and their gift for creating beautifully crafted pop songs, The Inbreds reflected that simple could be better. You may never be given another opportunity to witness such a unique band. Get the sweet melodies while the getting is good.

Mike O'Neill has my heart. I saw him play at the horseshoe on one of my favourite solo concert experiences. It was magic. See you Friday!

Sadly, I am writing to say that the door price is actually $10 (and there are advance tickets at Rotate and Soundscapes). Doors open at 10pm. Fox The Boombox are also playing and there are some good installation projects and live and pre-recorded video screenings scheduled.

TC-Business (from the looks of the above).

It was a lovely show.
As in, the show was full of love.
Lee's was packed and everyone was glad to be there.

Mike and Dave looked exactly like they did in their videos for Prince, Any Sense of Time, North Window, and so on.

Are you going to be reviewing this show Darius, or can I? I might not get to it until tomorrow night though, and I don't have any pictures.
