The New World (which I've been panting and salivating about on the show for months) finally gets its Toronto release, while Good Night, and Good Luck hovers on the edge of being ushered out of town, just before the Oscar buzz really kicks in. We'll have a look at both!
Today's show includes:
* Review of Terrence Malick's The New World
* Review of George Clooney's Good Night, and Good Luck
* A regretful report card on the Mt. Pleasant cinema
* Hot Docs news galore
* Canadian Film Centre deadline and the return of Paul Thomas Anderson

I love Malick's work, especially The Thin Red Line. I went to see The New World a few days ago and the screening ended with a bunch of people laughing and screaming how 'dumb the film was.' Yey, intelligence at its best.
