yeah I had the same feeling...they try so hard to make you feel comfortable that is kinda freaky...they actually don't do what you've requested...they do what they want and they assume it is good for you...never go back again!

I love going to Redd Hair Studio to get my hair cut. Not only do they do an amazing job, but the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are extremely kind, and I always feel at home there. I would highly recommend it to anyone. If you want to feel comfortable and get an amazing hair cut and style, Redd is the place to go.

Redd has a sexy staff who are professional and fun. Attentive service, and they know my hair better than I do. My brothers and I need a good cut for our tv show (www.whichwayto.tv) and know the girls will give us a good cut that matches the location we are travelling to in the show. And, it is a nice relaxing moment from a hectic scheduele. I won't go anywhere else.

I had a sophisticated cut that needed a trim. I made an appointment with the owner. She talked and talked and talked and didn't give me a chance to answer her questions. I came out with a hack job. My "look" is completely gone, parts of the cut are all chopped up. I will never set foot in the place again.

Trusting somebody to cut my naturally curly hair has always made me feel uneasy. I have been to numerous salons all across the GTA and finally feel comfortable dealing with Shannon from Redd. It's a family owned business operated by two sisters (Cara and Shannon), I'm very happy to support them and I always look forward to my visits. I don't know what people are complaining about nose levels...Hair studios are suppose to be upbeat and energetic...if you want a quiet experience ... Go visit a morgue.

Thank you to Shannon, Cara and the entire Redd team - I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my hair cut or styled.

I am in tokyo at the moment but returning to Toronto in a week to attend the TV Gemini Awards. My brothers and I have been nominated for our travel adventure series Which Way To ... (www.whichwayto.tv) for Best Lifestyle/Information program. I plan on going straight to the Redd Ladies to spruce me up and try to get me looking handsome for awards night. It is a very tough job but they have the talent to do it! Looking forward my visit to Redd and TO!

I have attended all the "TOP" salons in Toronto and LA. As i live in LA and visit Toronto frequently. Shannon has a gift. She is able to cut, style and color my hair to absolute perfection, which I might add only two other people on this planet can do. Not to mention she does it for significantly less. I also find her salon upbeat and fun. I will never go anywhere else and wish Shannon would move to LA for the winter.

I went to Redd for years!!! However I had never gone to Shannon, the first was the last. I asked for one cut I had pics and everything. I left crying as she cut my hair the way she thought would look good... All it did was make me look like I got a guys hair cut. It took 6 months of a ponytail till it grew out. Another time I wanted to go from dark blond to light blond, and it took 4 hours, my hair was yellow, feel out, and it was over $300. Needless to say I no longer go there.

Leaving Tokyo on Friday and flying to Washington for a TV conference. Then, spending three quick days in Toronto for more tv meetings. Maybe, if I can squeeze it in I can get an appointment with Shannon at the shop?! WOuld be great but have to see the scheduele first. I am in need of some Redd attention!

I went to Redd for the first time a few weeks ago and saw a stylist named Liz. Needless to say, she did an amazing job on my color and cut! I would return back in a heartbeat. I think I have found my new hair home :)
