"Bangs and Behive" just wouldn't work as well. Salon with as much interior style as the haircuts.

I love this place. I used to go to Leoni's Hair Design at Yonge & Finch (which is amazing if you live in the area), but it is way too far from where I live. I now get my haircut at Bob & Paige by Frank (the owner), and I'm extremely impressed. Very unique, creative cuts that really stand out.
A+++
Love Frank from Bob & Paige Salon. Use to hate getting my hair cut. Now I love it. And I'm in and out. Despite how busy they are, you're not waiting around for hours after your appt time. And I get a great cut that lasts until the next cut.
Frank at Bob & Paige Salon is one-of-a-kind. My husband and I appreciated his hair styling skills years ago in Richmond Hill. Dissatisfaction with the everyday salon led us back to Frank at his new location in the Danforth. Now, we get out of the 'burbs to enjoy a lively part of the city, relax at Frank's salon and leave with a great cut.
I've never visited bob+paige and I'm looking for a new place to go for my next cut. I was curious if anyone could please give me an idea (approx.)how much a haircut for women would be? How about for men?
Thank you :)
Unfortunately I got a really crappy hair cut here. After being really specific as to what I did and didn't want, I know what suits me and what looks good, and asked exactly for what I wanted and got the exact opposite. He seemed really set on cutting my hair the style he wanted to not what I asked for, that's what I ended up with and it was a really awful cut that took months to grow out.
I love this place! Great staff, very artistic and no attitude.
what's the cost (approx.) for a mens haircut, possibly with a jr. stylist ?
I just booked an appt there - fingers crossed all goes well! The cost for a jr. stylist is $50, intermediate stylist $55, and sr. stylist $65.
Great atmosphere, amazing and friendly staff = great haircuts.
Very happy customer...will be back.
My mom, sister and I had followed Violet for years before opening Bob + Paige. She's great and we are always happy with her cuts/colour/blow dries. The whole team is a lot of fun and very welcoming. I've recommended her to all my friends, and every single one of them that has gone returns as a loyal client (and personal fan).
how much is it for full-head foil hilites and lowlites? Does anyone know? Thanks
Nancy - how did you like your hair cut? I am thinking of going there.
The cut was great! The atmosphere was lovely as well. Definitely recommend this place!
Looking for a good stylist who can give you a good cut without looking at their watch for their next appointment. I am looking for a sophisticated cut with one straight colour (very blond).
Are these folks cool? Hip?
I was with the same hairdresser for 12 years but we've had a parting of the ways so now its time for a change, however, don't feel like paying a ton to not get what I want.
Any suggestions on a stylist? This salon is in my area.
hi does anyone know how much full hi-lights will cost on medium to long hair?
thank you!!
I moved to Toronto from the East Coast not long ago and have been very intimidated by the Toronto salon scene. I found Bob + Paige on this website and decided to give it a shot. The atmosphere is hip yet cozy and friendly. Everyone was so nice and my stylist, Tony, was wonderful. From the receptionist to the owner, I was greeted by everyone and immediately felt at ease. I walked out with a completely new hairstyle for less than $60 and I could not have been happier. Tony was thorough and I felt like all of his focus and attention was on me and my hair the whole time, I will definitely be going back and would recommend this salon to anyone!
The people and salon were falsely over indulgent, over priced for the atmosphere, the colour was typical and not overly impressive, fads come and go, and this salon is definitely that.
Just wondering if anyone can comment on whether stylists get upset when clients 'shop around' in the same salon? I've tried out a stylist (once) at Bob + Paige and now want to try out another one there. Do you think the first stylist would be upset?? Hair cut + color costs alot of money and I think consumers should feel free to try out different folks, but maybe it's a no-no?
does anyone know if they do good hair extentions?
if so, how much are they??
are they able to braid them in so they don't come out?
My friend and i are extremely interested so if anyone could let us know that'd be very much appreciated.
Thanks :)
wats the cost for permanent straightening.....
I'm trying out this place for the first time. I have an appointment next week. Haircuts are between $50 and $65. I have an appointment with Morgan. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a cut by Morgan before. Any reviews?
I just called B&P for a first appointment and was quoted $135 for full highlights for those of you interested
so i want to get some super natural highlights and im trying to find a really good and reliable place to get some. i have long brown hair, is this the right place to go?
and is it pricy?
Horrible experience. Ripped me off, hated my cut.
I love this Place, small staff and they all do a great job. As well the prices seem quite reasonable for their talent and service.
My appt was with Morgan (jr. stylist) a year or so ago. I waited about 20 minutes for her to finish with another client and when she was with me, didn't seem all that into it. My cut was mediocre at best and the staff there were not friendly and easy going as the other posters say. The owners were standing at the bar right next to me and didn't say a word. Won't go back.
Went to this salon, got a so-so hair cut, and should've listened to my instincts. I booked an appt. for streaks and a cut. I was told I couldn't get them because my hair was too fried. Fair enough, as my hair was in terrible condition following a calamity with a straightening iron.
My long (albeit heavily damaged) blonde hair was 'cut-off' to get rid of the damage- which I heartily agreed to- it was getting very frizzy on the tips of my hair.
I now have a crown of bangs that extends to the back of my head, and underneath is a bob with lop-sided layers, and front bangs that include one chunk that is shorter than my baby pinkie. I have very thick, naturally curly/wavy hair, so you can only imagine how appealing this mullet looks.
My 'streaks' were the worst (and really they were the only thing I complained to the salon about because you can't uncut hair unfortunately). They put in 'low lights'. Translation: my blonde hair was shot through with jet black streaks, and then 'toned' with a color to leave my roots brassy, and my hair beige in some areas and gray in others.
I thought that maybe it was the light in the salon showing a bad hair color, and that maybe the cut could be fixed when I washed and styled it myself. As I was leaving the salon, I kept telling myself that I was overreacting in my head, and that it was probably just in need of some hair spray and a cutter styling job (I've rocked everything from pixies, to faux hawks to long wavy locks) but after four or five showers and restyles, I was back at square one.
I called the Salon that afternoon to ask about getting the streaks fixed, and specifically advised that I was very uncomfortable (I've NEVER complained about hair before), and asked if I could have one of their other stylists fix it. The manager said I needed to go back to the original stylist to have her fix it- despite me asking several times to avoid the awkwardness and ALSO despite mentioning that I didn't really want someone to 'fix' something, when they put black low lights on light blond hair. The manager said I had no choice 'because it's a technical problem' (??whatever that means), and that I would need to 'learn' not to feel awkward about it, and come back in and see the original stylist. She said she would call back to book an appointment with the stylist (which she did- within minutes), but I didnt bothering answering.
I have an appointment booked with a senior stylist today at another salon to correct the damage. I've already spent $250.00 (total bill at bob and paige), so I'm curious to see how much this fiasco ultimately costs me. Ironically, I initiated this to 'get rid' of some of the damage, and I know that I will ultimately end up damaging my hair more to correct this.
My recommendation: don't use this salon. I know I only went to 'one' stylist (so I shouldn't throw everyone in the salon under the bus), but the handling by salon management makes me feel that the entire salon runs under a non-client friendly policy for handling complaints.
I had a terrible experience in this salon..the people were uninviting and pretentious...I guess you have to be a model to impress these people because they made me feel self conscious and unattractive. I didn't like my hair cut at all, it was totally overpriced..and the blow dry was minimal at best. Terrible experience.
I also just noticed other people having the same experience. Try citra Hair Studio. It's pretty much right across the street..upstairs at 393 danforth. I go there now and the staff is super friendly and my hair is great. I feel beautiful when i leave there..and that's the point :)
Have been going to bob and paige for just over a year now and have to say every experience ive had there has been a positive one, from beginning to end! Very friendly staff, extreamly talented, & great value! Would definitely recommend this place, if you live in the area or have to travel to get there as I do!
No way I would ever go to this place again .
Very weird cut took five months to cut it again! Violet was rather unaware on how to cut curly hair which is more wavy than curly actually. She put a layer at the back thaty award winning stylist had a tricky time blending it in.
