The Ramada Hotel on Jarvis St. in Toronto doesn't win any points for location. The main reasons someone would want to stay at a hotel in this part of town are (a) you have a kid in or are otherwise basing your vacation around the National Ballet school (b) you want to be close to the Village but not actually in it or (c) you have some sort of affinity for the Ramada brand.

Beyond this, there are few redeeming qualities location wise as Jarvis is a bit of a wasteland and not what one would call a pedestrian friendly street. But, the Ramada does have a basic pool and fitness centre and rooms can usually be had for about $100 a night.
