Meat on the Beach is a very calm and beautiful
store. it reminds me of a little italian butcher
shop in Sienna, Italy.

Calm and beautiful? LOL! When are you going?

They do have great stuff there, it's our local grocery store, but I always find the experience slightly irritating. you can barely reach for a food item without getting bumped into by someone trying to squeeze by you, all of the aisles are only one person wide, every shopping expedition is like a major obstacle course.

I endure that for the good food but have received more than one shin bruise from the basket of other shoppers, or felt rushed by the impatience of the next person waiting for their turn to be the only person that can get to the bread section, cuz only 2 people max can fit down the dairy aisle.

Its not all that. Was not impressed with this place at all. We were in there 2 minutes and broke a jar from bumping into it. The quality is average.

Meat on the Beach is a gem in this eclectic neighborhood. It may be over-crowded, but that is due to its unique and quality products. What are they supposed to do? Limit the numer of patrons with a bouncer? If you don't like small spaces, maybe city living isn't for you. If you love great little finds, this is the place for you. Just ignore the impatient crowd, they'll get ther turn just like you.
